Whitewater Training Trip #13-Ocoee Lite (Slice n Dice to Goforth)

All attending participants must have an active membership. This is mandatory for insurance reasons.

This event is part of the summer training series after Paddle School. The training series is designed for beginner paddlers to practice and develop their skills to eventually run the Ocoee by the end of the season. They differ from Paddle School in that though no formal instruction takes place, the trips will have a trip leader and sufficient support boaters to assist in skills development. We will have fun, but this is not designed to be just a social gathering. We will work the river, not just cruise down it. You must be a TVCC member in order to attend, or you may register as a one time guest. Direct all questions to the trip leader or the training officer (training@tvccpaddler.com).

Other Info: We will meet at the take out at 12:00pm. Link to location Big Creek Access - Ocoee Private Boater Takeout. Please be on time because we will have a safety briefing. From there we will set up shuttle. Please contact Joshua Harrison at harrison.joshua2001@gmail.com to let him know you are coming Thursday before the trip.
