ACE Clinic-Intro to Creeking

This event requires a $50 deposit that will be refunded to you after participation. If you register and later cannot attend, please contact the Treasurer, BG Smith, at Treasurer@tvccpaddler.com before the end of registration so your refund can be processed. If you do not cancel your registration and do not attend, you will forfeit your refund.  To learn more, go here: TVCC Refund Policy. In the past, people have donated their deposit because they were very happy with the program. Donations are always appreciated and are never expected.

Other Info: ACE Kayaking, the premier kayaking school in the Southeast, is offering several group clinics exclusively for TVCC members this season. The first clinic is an introduction to creeking. This is a class designed for beginners. This is a great opportunity to learn proper technique and good habits before Paddle School. The class will be taught on the Cartecay River by Joe Gudger. You must be a TVCC member in order to attend. Meet at the parking lot at Cartecay River Experience-River Left (aka Woody's) at 3:00pm. Link to location Cartecay River Experience - River Left. If you are coming from west of the river, the GPS will tell you to turn right on Lower Cartecay Rd from Hwy 52. You cannot turn here because the bridge is closed. You must continue straight on Hwy 52 for 3.3 miles, then turn right on Aaron Rd (there is a school on your right). Turn right at the end of Aaron Rd onto Lower Cartecay Rd. Go straight for a mile and Woody's will be on your left. You must register online. Contacting a board member or ACE Kayaking will not count as registering for the event. 

This event is free to all TVCC membership in good standing. This will NOT be open for One Time Guests. If you are new to TVCC then we would love for you to join us on this event.
