Ladies Take the Ocoee!

TVCC Sponsored Event - “Ladies Take the Ocoee”

Calling all you paddling Babes … Come join the fun as “Ladies Take the Ocoee”
Paddle or Raft with the Southeast's leading ladies of the river!  Enjoy a day or the whole weekend filled with boating on the Ocoee while paddling with fellow women in a safe and fun environment.   Enjoy some yoga to get you warmed up!

This event is open to TVCC Members and the Public!

            Base camp:  Adventures Unlimited (AU), 522 Hwy 64, Ocoee, TN

Event Details:

     - Friday, October 20:  
          -- 4-6 pm Check-in opens at Adventures Unlimited, Bathhouse Deck. (Campers & Paddlers)
         -- TVCC Guests must check in and sign waivers/One Time Guest form, if not completed online

     - Saturday, October 21:
          -- 8-9 am: Late Check-in and Group Assignments for river groups (AU Bathhouse deck)
          -- 9 am- 10am - Donation based yoga at the Bus Bar
          -- 11 am - Groups head to the river
          -- 6 pm - Taco Bar dinner served at the AU Bus Bar Grill 

     - Sunday, October 22:  - Paddle on your own with yoour new friends!

PADDLING OPTIONS: This is important - Please Read!

You can select from one of the following options for Ladies Take the Ocoee event:

     - Rafter- Rafting for this event is available at discounted price courtesy of AU. Enjoy a truly exciting laid back, wet day on the Ocoee!

     - Ocoee Beginner -   You must have paddled the Ocoee at least 3 times prior.  You would like some guidance on the lines and additional help / encouragement.
     - Ocoee Normal -      You feel comfortable and confident on the Ocoee, would like to run the traditional lines and have a laid-back Ocoee day!
     - Ocoee Challenge - You have a bomb proof roll and would like to learn more challenging lines on the Ocoee (i.e.: catching eddies in Broken Nose)

Event Options (at additional cost - prices include all taxes):

     1.  Camping:  Primitive tent or van camping is available at AU for $12 per person per night.  Yolu will pay TVCC and we will handle the rest.  Check in at the AU bathhouse deck during regular check in process.

     2.  Saturday Evening Meal:   Pre-pay for the AU Taco Bar during registration.  $15 per person.

    3.   Ladies Take the Ocoee T-Shirt:  $15 (Small - 2XL); $15 ; Short sleeve cotton available in Soft Pink or Light Blue. 

    4.  Stickers, "Ladies Take the Ocoee":  3 " round: 1 for $3 / 2 for $5 / 3 for $6.50     ** Perfect for your helmet, boat, back window! **

Special Considerations:
    1.  Due to this being a unique TVCC event, we are unable to accommodate first time Ocoee students/paddlers (this is not a training event!). Y ou must have run the Ocoee at least 3 times to participate in this event.
    2.  Not a TVCC member- you may attend as a “one time guest" for this event.  We will ask you to sign our One Time Guest form and our Waiver Form for the event. Please review our waiver before arriving.
    3.  Registration for this event closes on October 4, 2023.
